Beforeyoubegintheprocessofinstallingthetransducer,checkyour
hulltofindaspotwhereyouwillhaveasmoothwaterflowalong
thebottomoftheboat.Youwanttoavoidribs,rivets,andgougesor
scratchesinthehull.Thesecreateturbulenceinthewaterandcan
scatterSonarPhonereadingsathighspeeds.
Togetatrueverticaldepthreading,thetransducershouldbe
mountedparalleltothewaterline.However,a10°tilttoeithersideis
acceptable.Ifthehullisreasonablyflatwithadeadriseof10°orless,
mountthetransduceralongthehullbottom.Ifdeadriseisgreater
than10°,mountthetransducerwithlevelalignment.

Assemblethestainlesssteelbracketstothetransducerusingthe
hardwarefurnished.Donottightenuntilfinaladjustmentsaremade.
2.
Placeassemblyontransomatselectedlocationwiththefrontofthe
transducerextending1/2"to5/8"belowthebottomoftheboat
andwiththefrontpartagainstthetransom.Theleastamountthat
thetransducerextendsbelowthebottomisdesired.Iftoolow,
sprayandturbulencewilloccurresultinginlostbottomreadings.

Withtransducerinplace,markthetwoslotlocationsofthe
transducermountingbrackets.Drillincenterofslotoutlineusinga
1/8"(.125")drill.
4.
Fastenthetransducertothetransomusingthe#8x1/2"screws,
nutsandwasherplates.
5.
Beforefinaltighteningthe2screwsholdingthebracketstothe
transducer,tiptherearedgedownapproximately1/8"asshown.
6.
Tightenallscrews.
CAUTION.Donotuseanythreadlockingcompoundonthescrews.
MostproductssuchasLoctite®containchemicalsthatattackand
weakenplastics.
PressthemasterON/OFFswitchonthesideoftheT-BOX.Itwilllight
upshowingthesystemnowhaspower.Whenitstartstorandomly
flash,thisletsyouknowthesystemisnowtransmittingaWiFisignal.
ToTurnitoff,pressandholdthebutton(5seconds)untilthelight
goesout.
WhenthesystemisON,pressthePowerSwitchthreetimes,quickly
