bemadedirectlytoabatteryoraconnectioncanbetappedintoa
boat'selectricalsystem.
Ifpossible,poweryourT-BOXusingthemainstartingbattery,nota
batterythatpowersanelectrictrollingmotororotherpotential
sourceofelectricalinterference.
Whenroutingthecable,besuretostayawayfrom,orprovidecable
protectionaround,areaswithsharpmetaledges.Ifthesupplied
powercordistooshort,extenditusing18gaugewire.
IMPORTANT:Besuretohavecircuitprotection,suchasa1ampfuse
orcircuitbreaker,placedinthepositivelinenearthepowersourceto
protectthewiring.

ThesonartransducerstylethatcomeswithT-BOXisdesignedtobe
mountedexternallyonthetransomofyourboat.Ithasaspecial
wedgedshapetoallowclearwaterflowwhenrunningathighboat
speed.Thetransducerisattachedatthebottomoftheboat'stransom
withasmallportionofitextendingbelowthehullline.
