BeforeyoucanuseSonarPhoneinthewater,youmustunderstandhow
thesonarpartofthesystemworks(T-PODorT-BOX)soyoucanuseit
properly.
UsingtheT-PODWiFiSonarSystemissimple.JustattachtheT-POD
totheendofaheavyfishinglineandcastitintothewaterasyou
wouldanormalfloatorlure.Youcanalsoreadthedepthandseefish
targetswhileyouslowlyreelintheT-PODortrollitbehindyourboat.
IMPORTANT:Ensurethatthefishinglineisheavyenoughandthe
T-PODiswellsecured.Sliplinetechniquesarenotrecommended
becauseofthehigherriskoflosingtheT-POD.Also,beawareof
powerlinesandotherobstaclesasyoucast.
HandletheT-PODWirelessSonarSensoronlybythetopantenna
coverornoseringwhenitisON.Avoidtouchingthebottomwhen
active.TakeextracarenottodroptheT-PODwhilehandling.Donot
trytoopenyourT-POD,itispermanentlysealed.
BeforeyoufirstusetheT-PODWiFiSonarSystemyouwillneedto
chargeit.

Aligntheplugofthechargingcablewiththepinsonthebottomof
theT-PODasinthefollowingpicture.
2.
AligntheUSBplugofthechargecable(thelongerofthetwo
cables)withtheUSBsocketofthepowersupplydevice(computer,
adapter,etc.)
3.
WhenchargingstartstheredlightsinsidetheunitwillremainOn.
Whenthebatteryisfull,theindicatorlightswillbeswitchtogreen.
IMPORTANT:BesurealloftheconnectionsareDRY,wateronthe
stainlesssteelconnectioncancreaterust.
TheT-PODWiFiSonarSystemwillactiveautomaticallywhenitis
immersedinthewater.TheT-POD'sinternalGREENindicatorlight
whenithasconnectedaSonarPhoneappsuccessfully.Once
immersed,theinternalcomputerwillbegintostartup.Giveitafew
seconds.
