5. PHYSICAL INSTALLATION

About this chapter
The setup process below describes roughly the installation stages to follow to install the SP-20 sports perimeter. Several stages
refer to one or more detailed and illustrated procedures which are also described in this chapter.

ual. Furthermore, be sure that all installation requirements for the SP-20 display are fulfilled, see "Installation
requirements", page 7 .
Setup process
1. The first stage in this process is the preparation of the SP-20 tiles. Note that the SP-20 tiles are stored 3 (three) or 1 (one) in a
package. So first remove the SP-20 tiles from their package and roughly put then in place.

2. The second stage includes folding out the foot system into the desired tilt angle and positioning them next to the previous tile
inside the SP-20 sports perimeter.
For more information about this procedure, see "Proper and safe use of the foot system", page 25.
3. The following stage describes how to connect one SP-20 tile to a neighboring tile.
For detailed information, see "Securing SP-20 tiles", page 34.
4. If used, the next stage is to provide soft covers to the sides of the SP-20 tiles that are used in a gateway.
For detailed information, see "Installing soft covers on gateways", page 36.
5. The next stage in this process is the power and data cabling of the SP-20 tiles.
For detailed cabling instructions, see "Cabling ", page 39.
6. The following stage is the installation of the power box(es). Follow the installation guidelines in the manual of the used power
box.
7. The next stage is the Installation of the digitizer and, if required, the fiber link receiver or compact link and/or AEC. Follow the
installation guidelines in the manuals of these products.
8. The final stage is the Installation of the control software for the SP-20 display. See installation procedure described in the
manual of the control software.
