Settings
Setting SIM card lock
1. Tap Settings > Location & security > Set up SIM card lock.
2. Tap Lock SIM card and enter the SIM PIN if you want to require
PIN to use the phone.
3. Tap Change SIM PIN and enter the old SIM PIN and a new SIM
PIN if you want to change the SIM PIN.
Setting the credential storage password
1. Tap Settings > Location & security > Set password.
2. Enter a new password and confirm it.
3. Tap OK.

Applications

Allowing unknown source
1. Tap Settings > Applications.
2. Tap Unknown sources if you want to allow non-market
applications to be installed on the phone.
Setting keyboard shortcuts for applications
1. Tap Settings > Applications > Quick
launch.
2. Tap one of the alphabets and select an
application for the shortcut.
Note You can re-assign a shortcut for an application.
Viewing services and applications that are active
1. Tap Settings > Applications > Running services.
2. Tap a service or an application to stop its operation or to manage
its option.
Debugging USB
1. Tap Settings > Applications > Development.
2. Tap USB debugging if you want to allow the debug mode when
USB is connected.
3. Tap OK on the page about USB debugging.
Maintaining the staying condition
1. Tap Settings > Applications > Development.
2. Tap Stay awake if you want to keep your phone awake while it is
being charged.
Accounts & sync
Managing the background data
1. Tap Settings > Accounts & sync.
2. Tap Background data if you want to sync, send and receive data
at any time.
3. Tap Add account on the bottom of the screen if you want to add
an account.
