Setting The Language Option; Indicator Icons - Pantech P8000 User Manual

Your phone has a QWERTY keypad that provides a superior typing
experience for easy and comfortable texting. You can use all of the
phone functions with the keypad.
Key Function
Enters the relevant alphabet

Enters the key (numbers, symbols) on the top of

each key
Keeps entering keys on the top

Enters the capital letter for the key

Keeps entering capital letters on the top

Provides a space
Moves the cursor; moves to another field
Enters text
Deletes a letter on the left side of the cursor

Setting the language option

The language option is provided on your handset by default and
features may differ depending on the model.
1. Tap Settings > Language & keyboard
> Select locale.
2. Tap a language to use for the device.
3. Press the home key to finish setting the
option.
Note It is recommended to set the language option before using other
functions.

Indicator icons

Icon Description
The Wi-Fi network is
available.
The sync is under way.
The GPS is active.
Bluetooth is connected.
Strength of CDMA
signal: The bar becomes
bigger when the signal
becomes stronger.
