4. To delete a host, type

5. To return to the Host and Community Tables menu, press <Esc>.
6. To update the read and wrote community strings, type 2, "Alias Community String Table," and
press <Enter>. The Community Strings Table appears.
To enter the Read string, type 1 and follow the prompts on the screen.
To enter the Write string, type 2 and follow the prompts on the screen.
7. To return to the Main Menu, press <Esc>.

Change Your Password

You can update your password for the 2346 in order to maintain security. You cannot change the
password for any other users, especially those who are not logged in. To update your password,
follow these steps:
1. From the Main menu, type

Manage the Multiplexer

Many of the multiplexer functions are controlled by hardware jumpers and switches on the main
board, interface boards, or front and rear panels. You can monitor the multiplexer functions and the
data transmission or set up redundancy options.

Check Status

To check system status, including information about the power, copper, and fiber configuration and
status, follow these steps:
1. From the Main menu, type
