Information menu

The Information menu gives you access to information including sports results, news
headlines, financial data and more. This service is not available to pay-as you-go customers.
Orange text information
Orange text information is not currently
available with pay-as-you-go, but pay as-
you-go customers may access Voice
information by calling 177 from your
Orange Phone. Please refer to page 5.6
of this guide for further details.
getting information via the
Information menu
You can request information whenever
you like or set up your phone to send
regular messages on a particular subject.
When you request information a text
message is sent to Orange. The
information is then returned to to your
phone in the form of a text message.
You may be asked to enter a code
depending on what information you ask
for. If you are asked for a code, you can
call the Orange Literature Request Line
on 07973 973 970 and request a copy of
Orange Explain Multi Media Services
for a full list of codes. Alternatively, visit
the Orange website at
www.orange.co.uk/information

using the Information menu
To enter the Information menu:
1 Press under Menu then under
Select, or use menu shortcut 10.
2 Press or to scroll and choose
from Sport, Lifestyle or Finance.
3 Press under Select then press
or to scroll through the sub-menus
mentioned in the using the sport /
lifestyle / finance sections, on the
next page of this guide.
Within each sub-menu you can choose
from:
Latest
Sends the most up-to-date information
in the form of a single text message.
All future
Requests that you are automatically
updated by regular text messages rather
than continuously using the menus on
your phone.
No more
Cancels any requests for All future
information that you have made for that
topic.
From each of the previous options you
can choose:
Get info
Requests information be sent
immediately.
Add to menu
Enables you to customise the list by
naming and adding your current
selection.
using the sport menu
Select from Football, Rugby, Cricket,
Racing, Motorsport, Tennis, Golf and
All sport.
Follow the on-screen prompts to request
information remembering to scroll
through all the options and entering
codes when asked to do so. e.g. The
code for Fulham Football Club is FFC.
If you do not enter a team/course code
and leave the screen blank before you
press under Select you receive
general news on the sport menu you
entered (e.g. football).
using the lifestyle menu
Select from News, Business, Lottery,
Lucky No, Horoscopes, Weather and
Joke. Follow the on-screen prompts as
for the Sports menu. e.g. The code for
Aquarius is AQUAR.

using the finance menu
Select from Stocks, Futures, Indices
and Forex then press under Select
to select the one you want. Follow the
on-screen prompts as for the Sports
menu.

Note: There is no charge when you
send a text message to request
information. The cost of receiving
information depends on the type of
