If your phone wasn't registered with Orange when you bought it, follow the
instructions for your Service Plan below.
before you call
When you apply to register on the Orange
Network, you and Orange agree to be
bound by the Orange terms and
conditions set out in this user guide.
Please take time to read and consider
them before you register.
registering your Orange phone
Switch on your phone by pressing and
holding the
key. During your first
call to Orange Customer Services you
will be asked for the following
information:

The 15-digit serial number - or IMEI
number which is on the back of your
phone underneath the battery.

The SIM Card number. This is on the
SIM Card itself.

A password for security purposes - for
example your mother's maiden name.

Your address including the postcode.

If you are connecting to pay-as-you-
go, you will also need a four digit
identity code of your choice - if you
ever need to call Customer Services,
you will be asked for this, so please
keep it handy or memorise it.
Pay as you go customers
Please call 0800 079 0006 from any
other phone to register your Orange
phone and be credited with the free talk
time, applicable on registration.
Talk Plan, Everyday 50 and
Everytime customers
Please call Orange Customer Services on
150 from your Orange phone or
07973 100 150 from any other phone
before you make any other calls. This only
applies if your phone was not registered at
the time you bought it.

This is given to you either when you buy
your phone or when you call to register.
SIM update
When your phone is registered you will
receive one or more SIM updates. They
will arrive as text messages and SIM
update will show on the display.

acknowledging and deleting your
SIM update
Treat the SIM update as you would any
other text message you might receive on
your phone.

When a message arrives you will hear
a tone and see the
symbol and
the words New Message (1).

Press
under View twice. Press
under
Options. Delete will be
highlighted. Press
under OK. You
will see the message Confirm
Deletion? Press
under Yes.

Press and hold the C key to return to
the main display.

You should turn your phone off and
back on again. This will enable you to
make your first call.
