Midplane

The midplane is connected to the chassis management board, the power interposer board, the control panels, and the thermal sensor on
the hard drive cage.

Removing the right midplane

Prerequisites
NOTE:
Observe the routing of the cables on the chassis as you remove them from the system. Route these cables properly when
you replace them to prevent the cables from being pinched or crimped.

Follow the safety guidelines listed in

Follow the procedure listed in

Remove all the sleds from the enclosure.

Remove the cooling fan cage.
5
Disconnect all the connected cables.
Steps

Using the Phillips #1 screwdriver, remove the screws that secure the midplane to the chassis.

Lift the midplane out of the chassis.
3
Using the Phillips #1 screwdriver, remove the screws that secure the power cables to the midplane.
