In order to satisfy your personal needs, the portable is equipped
with a number of setting options. This section describes how to
customize your telephone.
Greeting
The greeting text is displayed when you switch on your portable.
You can edit the greeting text or turn the greeting off.
Enter greeting text

The display shows:

Enter your personal greeting text
The portable changes to text entry mode automatically. The
greeting may have up to 24 characters. How to write text, see
section "Write text". When you have entered your greeting:
Press to confirm

Note: If you want to turn off the greeting, just select
Off
and press
instead of New text
