To enter track number 30, press >10, then press 3 and
10/0.
Resuming playback from the
point you stopped the disc
— Resume Play
This system memorizes the point where you
stopped the VIDEO CD so you can resume from
that point.
Resume Play is not available for an audio CD
and a disc with MP3 audio tracks.
This function cannot be used while the PBC
indicator lights up.

While playing a VIDEO CD, press x to
stop playback.

Press N (or CD NX on the unit).
The player starts playback from the point
you stopped the VIDEO CD in step 1.
Notes
• You cannot perform Resume Play during Disc
Digest, Track Digest, Repeat Play, Shuffle Play or
Program Play.
• Depending on where you stopped the VIDEO CD,
the system may resume playback from a different
point.
• Resume play is canceled when:
– you press the numeric buttons on the remote,
PLAY MODE/TUNING MODE on the unit, x or
./>.
– you disconnect the power cord.
– you press Z on the unit.
Tip
To view from the beginning of the VIDEO CD, press
x
in stop mode, then press N (or CD NX on the
unit).
Playing VIDEO CDs with
PBC functions (Ver. 2.0)

— PBC Play

You can use PBC* menus on your TV screen to
enjoy the disc's interactive software. The menu
format and structure may differ depending on
each disc.
Use buttons on the remote for the operation.
* PBC: Playback Control

Press N (or CD NX on the unit) to
start playing a VIDEO CD with PBC
functions (Ver. 2.0).
The PBC menu appears on the TV screen.

Press the numeric buttons repeatedly
to select the item number you want.

Continue playback according to the
instructions on the menus to enjoy
interactive playback.
Refer to the operating instructions supplied
with the disc, as the operating procedure
may differ according to the VIDEO CD.
