This guide describes the IR 102 Remote Control kit and provides instructions for
installing, operating, and mounting it.
About the IR 102 Remote Control Kit
The IR 102 Remote Control Kit provides remote input selection for many Extron
products that use RS-232 or contact closure control ports, such as the SW HDMI Series
switchers. The IR 102 Kit includes an IR 102 handheld remote control (transmitter),
an IR sensor, and an IR receiver unit. The IR 102 Rx Receiver is housed in a compact
enclosure for mounting on a rack shelf or under a desk. The IR 102 hand-held remote
control can also control the Extron SMD 202 Streaming Media Decoder via either the
decoder front panel IR sensor or the Extron IR Sensor connected to the decoder rear
panel.
