To use the IR 102 with a control system to control a switcher, use an RS-232 cable to
connect the IR 102 Rx remote receiver to the RS-232 connector on the switcher rear
panel.
The receiver uses the RS-232 interface of the switcher for input selection. It also has
an RS-232 input port to permit the switcher to be controlled by a computer or control
system, regardless of whether the switcher RS-232 port is occupied by the IR 102
remote receiver.
NOTE: The remote control can operate a switcher only if the switcher is configured
