POSSIBE CAUSES
1) Pulleys not aligned.
2) Incorrect belt tension.
POSSIBLE CORRECTIVE ACTIONS
1) Align the pulleys.
2) Re-tension the belt.
ENGAGES LATE

POSSIBE CAUSES
1) Loose belt.
2) Incorrect cutting depth.
POSSIBLE CORRECTIVE ACTIONS
1) Tighten the belt
2) Reduce cutting depth
DOES NOT STAY TIGHT

POSSIBE CAUSE
1) Damage to axle, pulley or key.
POSSIBLE CORRECTIVE ACTION
1) Repair or replace axle, pulley or key. Make sure that the set screws are correctly
tightened.
CUTTING WHEEL DOES NOT ROTATE

POSSIBE CAUSES
1) Insufficient speed.
2) Incorrect belt tension.
3) Faulty clutch or clutch parts.
POSSIBLE CORRECTIVE ACTIONS
1) Speed up the engine.
2) Re-tension belt.
3) Replace clutch shoes, springs and/or clutch bearings.
CUTTING WHEEL DOES NOT ROTATE

POSSIBE CAUSES
1) Disconnected throttle cable.
2) Damaged throttle cable.
3) Throttle cable incorrectly mounted onto throttle valve.
4) Incorrect clutch shoe tension.
POSSIBLE CORRECTIVE ACTIONS
1) Connect throttle cable.
2) Replace throttle cable.
3) Correctly mount throttle cable onto throttle valve.
4) Re-tension clutch shoes or replaces springs and clutch shoes.
