Heat exchanger

This dishwasher is equipped with a heat
exchanger, in which fresh water for the
programme is pre-heated, in order to
save energy. The heat exchanger is
refilled with fresh water towards the end
of each phase that uses fresh water and
is held there ready for the next part of
the programme.
If you do not wish to use this function it
can be switched off (see "Settings, Heat
exchanger").
If water in the heat exchanger is not
used for several weeks, it will be
automatically drained and pumped
away for hygiene reasons. This process
takes a few minutes and will also be
carried out if the dishwasher is
switched off or the door is open.
