8.1. Mounting Instructions (Built-in variant only) The FlatView’s built-in variant is designed to be mounted in the user’s application using fastening clips. Due to their limited service life, parts that by their nature are subject to a particularly high degree of wear (wearing parts) are excluded from the warranty beyond that provided by law. This applies to the CMOS battery, for example. There is a protection label on your FlatView. If the product is opened, the warranty is lost. -

The buyer accepts responsibility for all freight charges for the return of goods to Kontron's designated facility. Kontron will pay the return freight charges back to the buyer's location in the event that the equipment is repaired or replaced within the stipulated warranty period.
