DESCRIPTION
The Art. 136 speaker unit is an intelligent device with a built-in microprocessor to control the functions of a system.
This speaker unit offers ease of installation (on audio door entry systems with multiple entrances there are no audio entrance
Art. 502N switchers required) and assists the user by providing visual and acoustic reassurance signals during the process of a call
(call, conversation, door open etc).
The enclosed speaker unit circuitry includes:
a. The microprocessor for controlling all functions;
b. The transmitting amplifier with condenser microphone and volume control;
c. The receiving amplifier and volume control;
d. 3 LEDs for Speak, Busy and Door Open visual indication;
e. The dry contact lock release relay to enable the electric lock or gate;
f. The modulated tone generator for calling apartments;
g. One 4 way DIP-SWITCH and a jumper to program the unit.
SPEAKER UNIT PROGRAMMING
The dip-switch and the jumper are accessible from the back of the module allowing the setup of the following parameters:
DIP-SWITCH 4 WAY
• The conversation time 1 or 2 minutes (switch 1);
• The door opening time 2,4,8 or 20seconds (switches 2,3);
• The recall on handset pick-up i.e. Speech live when a handset is lifted, no call required. (switch 4);
JUMPER
• Reassurance tone High, Low or off.
