    The COMfort DECT consists of the basestation (COMfort DECT Base 128) and the handset (COMfort DECT 800). You can log in up to eight COMfort DECT 800 handsets to one basestation. With the COMfort DECT repeaters (XA), (available as an option) you can bridge distances of up to 1000 m e.g.

    Control the Capacity of the Rechargeable Batteries To get a correct capacity status, the handset has to be at least one hour outside of the desktop charger. If there are less than three full bars, the battery has to be recharged. Call the main menu.

In case of opened/activated menu (settings, telephone book etc.) this key switches into the state of inactivity. Left Arrow Key From the idle state this key switches into caller/redial list. While entering a telephone number (dialing preparation/telephone book) a short activation of the key deletes the last digit.

    MAKE A CALL Accept a Call If the telephone number was entered into the telephone book of your system telephone, the telephone number with the corresponding name will be shown on the display - as soon as the telephone has recognized the number. If you are called, the display shows the number or name of the caller even before you pick up the receiver.

    Accept a waiting Caller During an ongoing call your attention is drawn to a new call (external subscriber, alarm or visitor on the door) by a knocking signal (tone in the receiver). To talk to the waiting caller or to confirm the alarm you will have two options. 1.

    Telephone Book TELEPHONE BOOK The telephone book is good for the entries of useful or often dialled telephone numbers with name. You can enter these telephone numbers together with the name directly or you can transfer the short-code dial numbers of the PBX into the telephone with the help of the PC program COMtools.
