Problem
The appliance makes an
unusual noise.
The washing results are
not satisfactory.
The washing cycle is
shorter than the time dis‐
played.

After a steam programme,
garments are partially wet.

garments are not suffi‐
ciently smooth.
The appliance does not
dry or does not dry cor‐
rectly.
The drying cycle is too
long.
Possible solution
This problem may be caused by a failure of the appli‐
ance. Contact the Authorised Service Centre. If you
need to open the door, please read carefully «Emer‐
gency door opening».
Make sure the levelling of the appliance is correct. Re‐
fer to 'Installation'.
Make sure that the packaging and/or the transit bolts
are removed. Refer to 'Installation'.
Add more laundry in the drum. The load may be too
small.
Increase the detergent quantity or use a different de‐
tergent.
Use special products to remove the stubborn stains
before you wash the laundry.
Make sure that you set the correct temperature.
Decrease the laundry load.
The appliance calculates a new time according to the
laundry load.
An unbalanced laundry load increases the duration
time. This is a normal behaviour of the appliance.
Make sure that the appliance is accurately levelled.
Adjust the appliance by raising or lowering the feet.
Make sure that you set a correct STEAM programme.
Make sure the air filters are not clogged. Check pri‐
mary and secondary air filters.
Make sure the drain filter is not clogged.
Make sure you have set the correct cycle. If necessa‐
ry, set a short drying time again.
Make sure the air filters are properly cleaned.
Make sure your laundry load does not exceed the de‐
clared load for the set programme.
Make sure that the room temperature is in the correct
range.
