Using NFC to transfer files
Place two NFC-enabled devices back-to-back for rapid file sharing.
Check that the screen is unlocked on both devices and ensure that NFC and Huawei Beam are
both enabled.
1
On the sending device, select the content that you want to beam (such as web pages,
contacts, images, or videos). Touch Share > Huawei Beam.
2
Hold both devices back-to-back so that the NFC sensors on each device touch each other. A
sound will be played and the sharing window will shrink on the screen.
3
Touch the screen on the sending device to transfer files to the receiving device.
By default, received files are saved to the beam folder in Files.
Using NFC to pair two devices
You can use NFC to rapidly connect two devices over Bluetooth or Wi-Fi Direct, or to share a Wi-
Fi or mobile data connection.
Check that the screen is unlocked on both devices and that NFC and Huawei Beam are both
enabled.
1
Enable Bluetooth on both devices.
2
Hold your device and the receiving device back-to-back so that the NFC sensors on each
device touch each other. A sound will be played and the sharing window will shrink on the
screen.
3
Touch the screen on the sending device to connect to the receiving device.
The same method can be used to establish a Wi-Fi Direct connection, share a Wi-Fi
hotspot, or share network credentials.
