Thank you for purchasing the INTELLINET NETWORK SOLUTIONS ™ Wireless 150N USB Adapter, Model 524438. This quick install guide presents the basic steps required to set up and operate this device. 1. Insert the included setup CD in the CD-ROM drive and start the INTELLINET WLAN.exe program. When the License Agreement screen displays, read the agreement and click “Next” to accept the terms and continue with the installation.

3. On the second Setup Type screen (below), choose a configuration tool. “INTELLINET Configuration Tool” is recommended, as it provides access to all adapter features. If you prefer to use the tool provided by Windows XP/Vista, select “Microsoft Zero Configuration Tool.” Choose either (the setting can be changed after the install), then click “Next.”...

4. When the Ready to Install the Program screen displays, click “Install.” NOTE: If the Found New Hardware screen displays again, wait a few moments and the Install screen will appear. 5. When the “InstallShield Wizard Complete” message displays, select “Yes, I want to restart my computer now”...

6. With the computer now turned on, insert the Wireless 150N USB Adapter into an open USB 2.0 port. NOTE: You can also insert the adapter into the provided stand and connect the stand to the USB port of the computer.

8. When prompted with “What do you want the wizard to do?” select “Install the software automatically (Recommended)” and click “Next.” INTELLINET Wireless 150N USB Adapter 9. A status screen will display, indicating that the installation is in progress. No action is needed at this point.

3. If the wireless network uses encryption, you need to input the correct encryption key. The configuration utility automatically suggests the correct authentication type (see the drop-down list), and you should not change the suggested value. NOTE: For WPA/WPA2 networks, you need to select the correct encryption type, as well (AES or TKIP).
