- Check the usage environment of the machine. Using the machine in
hot-humid or cold-dry conditions can cause this problem.
- Clean the corona wire of the drum unit.
- Replace the drum unit with a new one.
- Replace the toner cartridge with a new one.

Replace the fuser unit.
Replace the high voltage power supply PCB
ASSY.
Replace the laser unit.
Replace the main PCB ASSY.
Replace the low voltage power supply PCB
unit.
Remedy
Clean the electrodes of the drum unit and
those of the machine, and the grounding
wire. (Refer to
Fig. 1-6
Reattach the laser unit.
Reconnect the laser unit flat cable.
Reconnect the high voltage PCB flat cable.
Replace the laser unit flat cable.
Replace the laser unit.
Replace the high voltage power supply PCB
ASSY.
Replace the main PCB ASSY.
