[ " eco " OPERATION INDICATOR LAMP ] /DOOR ALARM/LOCKING THE CONTROL PANEL

● Always confi gure the settings with all the doors closed.
Caution
When the refrigerator is operated in a manner to reduce power consumption, such as Frost Recycle Cooling,
the indicator lamp is automatically lit to indicate that the refrigerator is operating in the energy saving mode.
Notice
● If [ " eco " Operation indicator lamp] isn ' t illuminated, check the following things.
・ Is the [ " eco " Operation indicator lamp] set as Off? → Perform the above-mentioned procedure for how to return.
・ Immediately after installation, when a lot of food is stored at a time, or when you open or close a door frequently, the
compressor operates at a high speed and this indicator lamp is not lit. → Open/close the door quickly or minimize
the number of opening/closing the door.
・ When the refrigerator is operated with "
enabled, → It will be illuminated after the quick cooling functions fi nish and the operation of the refrigerator gets stable.
・In summer, for example, when the ambient temperature around the refrigerator is high.
● When connecting/disconnecting the power plug or after recovering from electric power failure, it will return to the setting
where the [ " eco " Operation indicator lamp] is illuminated.
[ " eco " operation indicator lamp] can be turned off when you feel uneasy at night, etc.
■ How to turn off the
indicator lamp
Push and hold the"冷蔵"button
for three seconds with all the
doors closed until the [ " eco "
Operation indicator lamp] blinks.
The [ " eco " Operation indicator
lamp] is unlit.
When a door remains open for 30 seconds or more, alarm sounds as shown below and characters on the Control Panel are blinking to indicate that the door is open with sound and light.

■ When you want to stop the alarm
Push and hold the"冷却モー
ド"button for three seconds
with all the doors closed until
one beep sounds.
When the setting has been
completed, the indicator
lamp is restored to the
original state.
Notice
● When the Door Alarm is disabled, characters on the Control Panel no longer blink and operation sound is no longer made, but alarm
indicating cleaning of the ice-making tray does sound.
● The Door Alarm is enabled as factory setting.
● When connecting/disconnecting the power plug or after recovering from electric power failure, it will return to the setting where the Door Alarm sounds.
When this indicator lamp
will not be activated by pressing it. This can prevent erroneous operation of the Control Panel or misuse by children.
■ Locking

Door Alarm function (, but the Upper Freezer doesn' t).
■ When you want to sound the alarm again
