Overwrite Recordings

The Overwrite option is enabled by default. This allows the DVR to be able to record
events as they happen. If the hard drive is full, the DVR will record over recordings
already stored on the hard drive. The DVR will always record over the oldest files on
your hard drive first.
7.5

Hard Drive

This menu allows you to format the hard drive(s) in the DVR. Do not format a drive
that already has data on it, as the initialization process will erase any information
on the drive.
Format Hard Drive: Click this button to format the selected drive. Keep in mind,
formatting the HDD will erase all video files from the HDD.
