CAUTION
When stopping the engine,
never stop it with the reducer
lever.
After stopping the engine,
make sure to apply the park-
ing brake.
NOTE
For warming-up operation,
strongly step on the brake
pedal and pull your parking
brake.
WARNING
When leaving the tractor, park
the tractor in a flat and safe
place, put the shuttle lever
and the main shift lever to "N",
and block the tires.
[Otherwise]
The tractor may move and cause
an accident. Always set the park-
ing brake.

WARMING UP

1. Turn the key to "ON" position and
wait a minute.
2. Turn the key to "START" position
with the clutch depressed (to en-
sure safe operation).
3. Check if the engine is running
smoothly and repeat above steps
if required.
4. Increase the engine to 1,200rpm
at idle and warm it up to operating
temperature.
CAUTION
Do not use the starting fluid if
the tractor equipped with the
cold start device.

JUMP STARTING

1. Connect the red cables to the (+)
terminal of starter and the (+) ter-
minal of battery.
2. Connect the black grounds to
the (-) terminal of battery and
ground(b) of the engine.
3. Turn the key to "START" position.
4. After the stalled engine is start-
ed, disconnect the (-) terminal first
and disconnect the power cable.
CAUTION
Battery gives off combusti-
ble gases which can explode.
Avoid fire or spark from it.
Check its terminal (+, -) before
the battery is connected.
IMPORTANT
Connect the battery cable af-
ter checking its terminal (+, -).
Otherwise, there may be a risk
of damage of the electrical sys-
tem or explosion of the battery.
