To place a call
on exclusi ve hold:
PRESS
"HOLD"
Description
The intercom call on exclusive hold can not be
released by any extension other than the phone
which has placed the call on hold.
Operation
1 .
You are in conversation with an internal
party.
2 .
Press the HO LD button.
The indicator on the ICM button will flash
slowly.
The confi r mation tone of 2 beeps will be
heard.

Press the HOLD button, again.
The indicator will flash in groups of

To retrieve, press ' t he ICM button.
The indicator on the ICM button will return
to a steady green.

Conditions
When a call is on hold for more than 30

minutes aft er a hold time reminder sounds, the
call will be terminated automatically.
A hold time reminder is sounded through the
built-in speaker of the extension.
Calls on hold will be recalled either after

30 seconds, minute,
30 seconds or minutes, once handset is

replaced (or the SF-PHONE button is
pressed) . If hold recall time set is set to
"DISABLE", will not be recalled . Refer to
"Hold Recall Time Set " on page 2-34.
The hold time reminder is activated, even if the

hold recall time set is programmed to "DIS­
ABLE".
When lifting the handset (o r be pressing the

SP -PHONE button) :
before recalling . . . the dial tone will be heard
with the call on hold.
