SDS+ 3/8" keyless chuck which allows you to install and
use standard drill bits (not included).

chuck, insert the SDS+ mounting shaft (A) Fig.7
(SDS+ drill bit or the keyless chuck) of the accessory
into the SDS+ chuck (B), push it into the chuck until it
locks inside the chuck. It may be necessary to turn the
SDS+ mounting shaft before it can be fully inserted
into the SDS+ chuck.

of control and injury.
Selecting Speed Range

(0-300 RPM) and HI (0-1000 RPM) speed range. Move
the speed range selector (A) Fig.9 towards the front of

punch to mark the desired hole location. This will
prevent the drill from slipping off center as the hole is
started.
• The working material should be secured in a device or with clamps to keep it from moving
as the drill bit rotates.
• When drilling concrete and masonry, move the mode selector switch (B) Fig.6 to the
"percussion icon" (right) to achieve the maximum impact when drilling into maconry.
Installing Standard Drill Bit into SDS+ 3/8" Keyless Chuck
• Clean the shivers and any other foreign objects away from the bit and chuck, otherwise
Figure 8
the bit might not be tightened securely and thus will induce severe personal injuries.
• Open the chuck jaws by turning the chuck sleeve counterclockwise.
• Insert the desired drill bit into the chuck, make sure that the bit is in as far as it will go.
• Tighten all three jaws of the chuck by rotating the chuck sleeve clockwise.
