Remove the GPU with the supporting holder from slot 1:

Open the PCIe slot cover retainer.
a.
Loosen the captive screw of the supporting holder.
b.
Open the latch on the slot 1 and remove the GPU.
c.
Remove the supporting holder.
9.
To replace the component, reverse the removal procedure.

internal system components to cool before touching them.
CAUTION: In systems that use external data storage, be sure that the server is the first unit
to be powered down and the last to be powered back up. Taking this precaution ensures that
