6. Loosen the screw that secures the Wi-Fi card, and then remove the Wi-Fi card shield from the chassis.
Disconnect the Wi-Fi antenna cables from the Wi-Fi card.
Note: The screw cannot be removed from the Wi-Fi card shield.

7. Pull the Wi-Fi card out of the M.2 Wi-Fi card slot.

8. Insert the new Wi-Fi card into the M.2 Wi-Fi card slot. See "Parts on the system board" on page 35.
Then, pivot the Wi-Fi card downward so that the screw notch on the Wi-Fi card is aligned with the
screw hole in the mounting stud.
Note: Do not touch the notched edge of the Wi-Fi card.
9. Connect the Wi-Fi antenna cables to the Wi-Fi card.
10. Align the screw on the Wi-Fi card shield with the mounting stud, and then tighten the screw to secure
the Wi-Fi card.
11. Reinstall the system board shield. See "Replacing the system board shield" on page 98.
12. Reinstall the computer cover. See "Replacing the computer cover" on page 95.

Replacing the coin-cell battery

Attention: Do not open your computer or attempt any repair before reading and understanding the Chapter
1 "Read this first: Important safety information" on page 1.
Your computer has a special type of memory that maintains the date, time, and settings for built-in features,
such as parallel-connector assignments (configuration). A coin-cell battery keeps this information active
when you turn off the computer.
