6. Remove the four screws that secure the VESA mount bracket, and then lift the VESA mount bracket
upward to remove it.

7. Disconnect the cover presence switch cable from the system board.
8. Squeeze the sides of the cover presence switch inward and push it out of the VESA mount bracket.

9. Route the cover presence switch cable through the hole in the new VESA mount bracket. Then, connect
the cable to the system board. See "Parts on the system board" on page 35.
10. Insert the cover presence switch into the VESA mount bracket until it is secured firmly.
11. Align the four holes in the VESA mount bracket with the corresponding screw holes in the chassis. Then,
install the four screws to secure the VESA mount bracket.
12. Reinstall the system board shield. See "Replacing the system board shield" on page 98.
13. Reinstall the computer cover. See "Replacing the computer cover" on page 95.
