Introduction to Security System Operation

You can set your system in one of eight modes: Timed Set, Instant Set, Part Set, Silent, All Set, Home Set, Force Set and Omit Set, all of which are
described below.
MODE
Timed Set
Press when no one is staying on the premises. When
Timed Set, the system sounds an alarm if a protected
door or window is opened, or if any movement is detected
inside the premises.
Instant Set
Press to set all zones immediately. When Instant Set, the
system sounds an alarm if a protected door or window is
opened, or if any movement is detected inside the
premise.
Part Set
Press when you are staying at home, but might expect
someone to use the entrance door later.
When Part Set, the system sounds an alarm if a protected
door or window is opened, but you may otherwise move
freely throughout the premises.
Operates in the same way as Part Set above, except that
Silent
no beeps are emitted when the panel is set or unset.
All Set
Allows a Timed Set of groups assigned to the user code
without offering the choice of which groups are to be set.
The groups that are set when this option is selected are
determined by the keypad group restriction.
Home Set
Fully sets or part sets the system. The system is:
fully set if the exit time is manually terminated via a
Final or Push-Set zone operation
part set if the exit time is allowed to expire
