MODE
Force Set
Allows a Timed Set of the system when there are zones
that are open at the point of selecting the option.
Omit Set
Allows zones to be temporarily removed (omitted) from the
system. Once a zone has been omitted it does not
generate an alarm condition (including tamper). The
omitted zones are reinstated automatically when the
system is unset.

How to Set the System

Setting the system in any mode is performed in the same way.
Note: When setting, ensure that all the areas protected by movement detectors are free from obstructions and all doors and windows are secured.

When any set option is selected, other than silent, the keypad emits a
long beep followed by 2 short beeps.
When the system is set for Silent, no beeps are emitted.
When the exit delay time expires, the screen automatically returns to
the Home screen and indicates the system is set (only when EN50131
is off).
Sometimes there will be alarms, faults or tampers that stop the system
from setting, which cannot be cleared or reset as described in the next
two procedures. In some cases it is possible to temporarily override
these events to allow the system to set.
When attempting to set the system, any outstanding condition will be
displayed. If it is possible to override the condition, the Override icon is
displayed.
Press Continue to override that particular condition and continue the
set procedure. If the Override icon is not displayed, contact your
installer to investigate and rectify the problem.
