Dual Fuel LPG Conversion Kit Operating Instructions
Instructions:
For short periods of running any size of cylinder may be used, but for long term
running particularly in cold conditions smaller cylinders may start to freeze with
consequent loss of power. For reliable operation use a cylinder of at least 19 Kg net
capacity. In cold weather it may be necessary to use 47Kg cylinders.
Ensure the unit is empty of petrol

Remove protector sleeve from LPG inlet spigot,

Connect regulator hose assembly (item 1) to spigot

(item 2) (iluustration B)
Connect regulator hose assembly (item 1) to LPG

cylinder ensuring the cylinder valve seat and hose
union are clean before screwing them together

Depress fuel controller prime button for 1 to 2

seconds (illustration C)
Start engine in normal way

Stop engine by turning off the LPG at cylinder
*NOTE - DO NOT USE CHOKE
DO NOT STORE THE FUEL CONTROLLER WITH BUTTON DE-PRESSED
N.B. DO NOT USE
P.T.F.E. TAPE OR ANY
TYPE OF SEALANT

Caution! PROPANE VAPOUR IS HIGHLY FLAMMABLE. AVOID NAKED LIGHTS,
CIGARETTES, ETC WHEN CONNECTING THE CYLINDER. CHECK HOSE & FITTINGS
FOR DAMAGE OR LEAKS BEFORE EACH USE. (IF IN DOUBT DO NOT USE!)

Regulator Hose Assembly

LPG Manifold Assembly

Grommet

Extension Nuts
Drill Location Sticker

Instructions:
Tools required; Flat bladed screwdriver, Drill, 25mm hole saw, 10mm socket / spanner

Ensure all components are present (see illustration D above)

Remove door, place sticker (item 5) in line with casing edge and drill with hole saw

Remove air filter cover, air filter assembly and unclip the breather hoses (illustration 4.5)
Take the manifold assembly (item 2) and feed the LPG hose through the hole

Place manifold over carburettor studs ensuring large chamfer faces inward (illustration 7)

Remove spacers from the air filter assembly with long nosed pliers, replace with the

extension nuts (item 4) and secure to the carburettor studs using 10mm socket / spanner
(illustration 8.9.10)
Feed grommet (item 3) over the LPG hose and fit into the casing (illustration 11.12)

Re-clip breather hoses ensuring that the bottom hose is pushed into place through

the casing (illustration 13)

Replace air filter & covers and refit inspection door (illustration 14)
*IF IN DOUBT DO NOT USE!

Important! When the unit has been run on petrol it must not be run on LPG until all the petrol has been drained
from the fuel system. The best way to do this is to turn the petrol off and run the engine until it stops.
