For battery powered models LC 141VLi
and LC 141Li, turn the safety key to "0",
remove the battery and wait at least 5
seconds.
For cord powered model LC 141C,
disconnect the cord.
WARNING! Wear heavy duty gloves when
you handle the cutting equipment. The blade
is very sharp and cuts can easily occur.
Check the cutting equipment for damage or cracks.
Always replace a damaged cutting equipment.
Always ensure the blade is well ground and
balanced correctly.
Note: The blades should be balanced after sharpening.
Balancing, replacing or sharpening the blades should be
conducted by a service agent.
Damaged blades should be replaced when hitting
obstacles that result in a breakdown. Let the service
agent assess whether the blade can be sharpened or
must be replaced.
To replace the blade
1. To dismantle, unscrew the screw holding the blade.
2. Remove the old blade. Make sure the blade bracket
is free of damage. Also check that the blade screw is
undamaged and that the motor shaft is not bent.

Possible faults
Low battery voltage
3. The new blade must be mounted with the angled
ends pointing up towards the cover.
4. Center the blade correctly on the shaft.
5. Fit the washer and tighten the blade screw correctly.
Tighten the screw with a torque of 20 Nm.
6. Pull the blade around by hand and make sure it
rotates freely.
7. Test run the product.
