Cleaning
Check that the start inhibitor works (see instructions in section
page 108 ).
Check that the safety devices on the product are undamaged.
Check the cutting equipment (see instructions in section
equipment for damage on page 117 ). Never use blades that are dull, cracked or
damaged.
Check that the cutting cover is not damaged and that there are no visible defects
such as cracks.
Check the motor brake handle. Release the motor brake handle and make sure
the motor stops.
Battery powered models LC 141VLi/LC 141Li
Check that the ON/OFF button is in working order and not defective.
Check that the battery is intact.
Check the battery charging status.
Check that the release buttons on the battery works and locks the battery into
the product.
Check that the battery charger is intact and functional.
Check the connections between the battery and the product and also check the
connection between battery and the battery charger.

To do a general inspection

Check that nuts and screws are tight.
Make sure no cables are pinched.

To clean the product

Clean the product after use.
Clean plastic parts with a clean and dry cloth.
Do not use a high pressure washer to clean the
product.
Never flush water directly on the motor.
Brush leaves, grass and the like off of the product.
Do not wash the product with water, as water can
enter the battery or the motor and cause short circuit
or damage to the product.

If the battery connector on the product is dirty, clean
it by blowing with compressed air or use a soft
brush.
Make sure the battery and battery charger are clean
and that the terminals on the battery and the battery
charger are always clean and dry before the battery
is placed in the battery charger.
Keep the battery guide tracks clean.
