7.2.1 Single-unit setup with hoses (Fig.3)
1. Anchor the Bitron horizontally on a suitable substrate with the feet down.
Use four countersunk head screws (not supplied with the product) to
anchor the Bitron.
2. Hand tighten the screws.
3. Connect the hoses (see "7.3 Hose connection"):
– Water intake D
– Water discharge A (UVC)
– Water discharge C (bypass)
Note: If the pump capacity is less than the maximum water flow of the
Bitron (see "7 Installation") then the water discharge C (bypass) can be
closed with the sealing cap and flat gasket.
7.2.2 Connection to Biotec 5/10/30 and Biotec 5.1/10.1 (Fig. 1 and 4)
1. Adjust feet so that they are in the correct position (see table and Fig. 1).
To do this, press the grip surfaces of the feet together (see fig.) and slide
the movable portion into the correct position.

2. Place a large flat gasket on each of the water discharges (A, C).
3. Place the Bitron onto the Biotec as shown in illustration 4.
4. Insert an O-ring from inside on each of the water discharges (A, C).
5. Screw the inlet nozzles from inside on the water discharges (A, C). The
inlet nozzle opening must point downward after mounting.
6. Connect the hose to water intake D (see "7.3 Hose connection").
7.2.3 Connection to Biotec 12/18/36 (Fig. 1 and 5 )
1. Adjust the feet so that they are in position 0 (see Fig. 1). To do this press
the grip surfaces of the feet together (see fig.) and slide the movable
portion into position 0.
2. Place a large flat gasket on each of the water discharges (A, C).
3. Place the Bitron onto the Biotec as shown in illustration 5.
4. Screw the Bitron on tightly with the anchoring nuts of the water distributor
and the O-rings.
5. Connect the hose to water intake D (see "7.3 Hose connection").
7.3 Hose connection

Only operate the Bitron with pressure hoses that are approved for at
least 0.5 bar, or for the maximum pump pressure.

Select the largest possible hose diameter for the connection between
pump and Bitron.
