7. Installation
–
Be sure to read and observe the safety instructions prior to installation!

Compare the electrical data of the supply grid with that of the type label.
This data must be consistent.

Install the Bitron at least 6 feet from the edge of the pond!

Position the Bitron so that it will not be emmersed in water.

Put the Bitron where it will not be exposed to direct sunlight!
–
Lay the hoses and the connecting lead in such a way that they do not
present an obstacle and cannot be damaged!

You must read and follow the safety instructions before the installation!

The Bitron devices 18C are suitable for a pump capacity of up to
3960 Gph (15000 l/h). The flow rate on the UVC bulb should not exceed
– 580 Gph (2200 l/h) for Bitron 18C
(see "8.1 Bypass setting")

The Bitron devices 36C/55C are suitable for a pump capacity of up to
7920 Gph (30000 l/h). The flow rate on the UVC bulb should not exceed
– 1190 Gph (4500 l/h) for Bitron 36C
– 1720 Gph (6500 l/h) for Bitron 55C

I am replacing the bulb in my oase britron55c. The blue press release button has snapped is there a way of opening to change the buld
If the blue press release button is broken, follow these steps to open the Oase Bitron 18C and replace the bulb:
1. Unplug the Bitron power plug.
2. Switch off the pump and prevent it from turning on unintentionally.
3. Press the safety engaging lever.
4. Manually turn the device head in the direction of the arrow until it stops.
5. Carefully pull out the device head with the cleaning rotor.
Note: Since the blue press release button is broken, extra care and manual effort may be needed to turn and remove the device head. Ensure all safety precautions are followed.
