BLUETOOTH Functions

Listening to music from a

BLUETOOTH device

Pairing this system with a
BLUETOOTH device
Pairing is an operation where
BLUETOOTH devices register with each
other beforehand. Once a pairing
operation is performed, it does not need
to be performed again.
If your device is an NFC-compatible
mobile device, the manual pairing
procedure is not necessary. (see
"Connecting to a mobile device by One-
touch function (NFC)" page 16)

Place the BLUETOOTH device
within 1 meter from the
Subwoofer.

Touch
PAIRING on the
Subwoofer.
The system enters the pairing
mode. The BLUETOOTH indicator
(blue) on the Subwoofer flashes
quickly.

Turn on the BLUETOOTH function
on the BLUETOOTH device, search
for devices and select "HT-RT4" or
"HT-RT40".
If a Passkey is required, enter
"0000".
Perform this step within 5 minutes,
otherwise pairing mode may be
canceled.

Make sure that the BLUETOOTH
indicator (blue) on the Subwoofer
lights up.
Connection is established.
Note
Passkey may be called "Passcode", "PIN
code", "PIN number" or "Password".
You can pair up to 10 BLUETOOTH
devices. If the 11th BLUETOOTH device is
paired, the least recently connected
device will be replaced by the new one.
Listening to music from the
paired device

Turn on the BLUETOOTH function
of the paired BLUETOOTH device.

Press INPUT repeatedly to select
"BT".
The system automatically
reconnects to the BLUETOOTH
device it was most recently
connected to.
When the BLUETOOTH connection
is established, the BLUETOOTH
indicator (blue) on the Subwoofer
lights up.

Start playback on the BLUETOOTH
device.

Adjust the volume.
Adjust the BLUETOOTH device
volume.
Press  +/– to adjust the system
volume.
Press SW  +/– to adjust the
Subwoofer volume.
