Threading the needle thread / adjusting the needle thread tension

● Thread the needle thread as shown in Fig. 9 - 06. Please ensure that the PFAFF 571 nee-
dle is threaded from right to left and that of the PFAFF 591 is threaded from left to right.
● Adjust the needle thread tension by turning the knurled thumb screw 1.
Switch off the machine!
Risk of injury due to accidental machine start-up!
