HP SA-P400 and SA-E500 24 In Battery Cable Kit
NOTE: This option kit contains a 24" battery cable and adhesive material for
installing a battery into the server if a Smart Array E500 is integrated outside of
the factory if the BBWC is not pre-installed from the factory. For all solutions,
please refer to the server QuickSpecs and User's Manual for detailed installation
instructions.
512MB Battery-backed write cache upgrade
NOTE: For Smart Array P400 Controller only.
NOTE: If you install the 512MB DDR BBWC as an upgrade to a Smart Array
P400/256MB Controller, you must also order part 417836-B21 (HP SA-P400 and
SA-E500 24 In Battery Cable Kit).
Battery-backed write cache upgrade

Provides (2) cables to connect the Controller to the Optional SAS Backplane (HP
DL785 G5 SAS Option Kit - AH267A). This is required each time one of the
Smart Array P410 and P812 Controllers is ordered without factory integration
and will be used to control internal drives 9-16.
SAS Controller Options
HP DL785 SAS Expander cable option kit
NOTE: Option kit not supported for factory integration
NOTE: Required each time the 468406-B21 HP SAS Expander card is ordered.
Provides (6) cables to connect the Smart Array Controller to the Expander, and
the Expander to the Primary and Optional SAS backplanes. The SAS cables
provided with the DL785 and the Expander are not used.
