Program and enter your database password (when requested).

9600 (Bits per Second), 8 (Data Bits), none (Parity), 1 (Stop Bits),
None (Flow Control) then click OK.
Step 1 - Program the DC / Serial (LAPB Port).
5. Click the INITIALIZE MODEM button. Without changing the initial-
ize string, click OK.
To test your office modem using Windows" HyperTerminal program:

Start the HyperTerminal program. (Click START - PROGRAMS -
ACCESSORIES - HYPERTERMINAL. Double-click on the
HYPERTRM.EXE file.)

Create a name for the new connection, such as MODEM SETUP and
click OK.
Select the COM Port (1 - 4) to be used and click OK.

none (Parity), 1 (Stop Bits), None (Flow Control) then click OK.
5. Type AT&F and press Enter to default the modem.
