be obtained; exit other applica-
tions.
• Delete MP Drivers, then reinstall
MP Drivers from the Setup CD-
ROM or our website.

Take the following measures.
◦ Check the scanner status.
◦ Restart the scanner.
◦ Restart the computer, then try
again.
◦ Reinstall MP Drivers.
• Click Control Panel > System
and Security > Administrative
Tools, and then double-click Serv-
ices to check if WIA (Windows Im-
age Acquisition) is running or in
started state.
• There may be interference with
other drivers; delete unnecessary
drivers.
• Your application may not properly
comply with TWAIN. Scan using
another application.
• Delete unnecessary files on the
hard disk and scan again.
• Exit the ScanGear in use.
• With network connection, specify
the scanner to use with IJ Network
Scanner Selector EX.
Refer to "Network Scan
for the setting procedure.
• Delete MP Drivers, then reinstall
MP Drivers from the Setup CD-
