Setting Automatic IP Address Assignment in Windows
Wireless access points like the FRITZ!Box are equipped with a
DHCP server. The DHCP server assigns addresses for the con-
nected computers.
For your computer to obtain its IP address from the DHCP
server automatically, automatic assignment of IP addresses
must be set in Windows.

Move the mouse cursor to the upper right corner of the
"Start" page and click "Search".
Enter "ncpa.cpl" and then press "Enter".
Click "Start".
Enter "ncpa.cpl" in the search line of the start menu,
and press "Enter".
Click "Start" and select "Run".
Enter "ncpa.cpl" and click "OK".
