Using your Compact Digital Radio

Time and date
Supplied by the broadcaster.
1. Repeatedly press and release the Menu button to cycle through the different
information options.

Sleep timer

You can set your radio to turn off automatically using the sleep timer. You can choose
from Sleep off, 15, 30, 45, 60 and 90 minutes.
In DAB or FM mode:
1. Press and release the rotary Volume control to enter the Sleep timer options.
2. Use the Prev or Next button to move through the available options. Stop when the
sleep time you would like is displayed and Press and release the rotary Volume control
to Select.
3. The sleep time minutes that you have selected will be displayed on the top right of the
display e.g. S15, and will countdown until the radio switches off.
Note: To cancel the sleep time, follow the steps to set the sleep time but stop when
'Sleep off' is displayed.

Display backlight timeout

You can adjust the display backlight timeout. Options of permanently On, 10, 20, 30, 45,
60, 90, 120, and 180 seconds are available.
Note: An '*' will be displayed next to the current setting.
