Getting Started
Using the Hand Strap
A Thread the thin cord loop of the strap through the strap mount on the
camera.
B Thread the other end of the strap through the thin cord loop and tighten
the strap.
C Adjust the length of the belt and loop it around your wrist.

Using the Built-in Tilt Stand
You can use the stand to place the camera on the floor or table to shoot from
a low angle or when taking a selfie.
A Place your finger at the indent of the stand located at the bottom of this
unit.
B Move your finger in the direction of the arrow.
The front edge of the stand lifts up.

C Lift the stand upright.
D Slide the stand in the direction of the arrow to the position indicated by
the line in the figure.
If the stand does not move, do not force it. Proceed to step 5.

E Tilt the stand as shown in the figure.
F Place the camera as shown in the figure.
Storing the stand

Slide the edge of the stand towards the direction of the battery; align the
marks on the camera and the stand to store the stand.
When the built-in tilt stand is removed
A Attach the protrusion on one side of the stand as shown in the figure.
B Push in the protrusion on the other side in the direction of the arrow
to attach the stand.
Caution :
To prevent the stand from damaging, it is designed to come off when

the load applied exceeds a certain level.
Reattach the stand immediately to avoid losing it or accidentally
0
swallowing it.
If you have lost the stand, consult your nearest JVC service center.
