Self-diagnosis Function

1-1-1. Self-diagnosis Function
If an error occurs in this unit, the self-diagnosis function starts working and a code consisting of one alphabet and a four-
digit number appears on the LCD. Classification of persons in charge, classification of faulty blocks, and details of errors
can be checked by referring to this indication of five alphanumeric characters in the self-diagnosis code table.
The history of past errors can be checked in "Usage and Diag record" on the DATA tab of the Adjust Manual.
The self-diagnosis function is also described in the operation manual.

Ask the headquarters about correction of this error.

Check the remaining battery power because this symptom maybe de-
pended on the remaining battery level, and confirm whether or not
the symptom is occurred after replacing the battery.
If the symptom is still occurred, IC2300 and IC3102 on the AVP-25
board, or the peripheral circuit may be faulty.
Replace the AVP-25 board.
Change the battery pack or place it in a cool place.
When this error is not cleared, replace the RE-328 board and/or the
AVP-25 board.
Use the Sony genuine battery.
When this error is not cleared, replace the RE-328 board and/or the
AVP-25 board.
