4.14 Adjustments before first firing

Adjustment of the combustion head has been illustrated on
page 14.
In addition, the following adjustments must also be made:
Open manual valves up-stream from the gas train.
Adjust the low gas pressure switch to the start of the scale
(Fig. 26).

Adjust the high gas pressure switch to the upper limit of the
scale (Fig. 27).
HIGH GAS PRESSURE SWITCH

Installation
Adjust the air pressure switch to the zero position of the scale
(Fig. 28).
Purge the air from the gas line.
Fit a U-type manometer (Fig. 29) to the gas pressure test point on
the sleeve.

The manometer readings are used to calculate MAX. burner power
using the diagrams on page 18.
Before starting up the burner it is good practice to adjust the gas
train so that ignition takes place in conditions of maximum safety,
i.e. with gas delivery at the minimum.
