SEATS AND RESTRAINTS
During Pregnancy
1
Pregnant women should always wear
combination lap/shoulder belts. The
lap belt portion must be worn snugly
and as low as possible across the
pelvis. To avoid pressure on the
abdomen, the belt must never pass
over the waist. A properly worn seat
belt may significantly reduce the risks
to woman and baby in the event of a
crash.

Belt Damage and Repair
Damaged belts in the cab must
be replaced. Belts that have been
stretched, cut, or worn out may not
protect you in an accident.
If any seat belt is not working properly,
see an Authorized Service Center for
repair or replacement.
For further information on seat belts
and seat belt maintenance, see Safety
Restraint System - Inspection on page
5-67.
