Windows XP Home—To turn off your Notebook properly,
complete the following steps:
1. Save your work and exit all open programs.
2. Click the Start button on the Windows taskbar. The Windows
Start menu is displayed.
3. Click the Turn Off Computer button. The Turn off
computer dialog box is displayed.
4. Click the Turn Off button. The operating system closes and
your Notebook turns off.
